Research
There has been a lot of University Trials and Research dating back to 1999 on the viability of using Sheep Wool as:
- Fertilizer
- Form of Saving on Water requirements
- Helping with the Microbes of the soil
- Increasing Yields but not at the expense of Flavour, Texture or Shape
- Rejuvenation of Older trees and plants etc.
Research has been conducted in universities across the USA, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Hungary, and is currently underway in Ireland.
These studies consistently show that sheep wool is a highly effective fertiliser for production, with no clear drawbacks.
For five years, Woolpell has refined its production based on this research and earned organic certification, reinforcing our commitment to a high-quality, sustainable product.
Healthy roots, vibrant growth – Woolpell’s organic pellets bring lasting vitality to every pot, tray, or tunnel-grown plant.
